I am Interested in Auditioning for (circle all that apply):

Actor w/Singing

Actor (singing ONLY in group)

Artist (makeup, costuming, etc)

Musician: guitarist, pianist, violinist, other

Stage Manager / backstage helper

Construction/set/prop building.

I understand that I will need to be available for the week prior to the performance every day from 2:00 – 6:00 for Dress Rehearsal. This is NOT optional. If you absolutely know without a doubt that you can not make dress rehearsals, PLEASE do not audition. (The practices most likely won't last 4 ½ HOURS, I just know that those are the available hours we have. So practices will be in between those hours... the rest of the time will be spent on set building)

I also understand that I will have to be present at all performances. There are no understudy parts in this play. Unless you are hospitalized, you will be expected to be there.

I understand that there is a non-refundable activity fee once a roll is accepted to help offset the costs of costumes, facilities, and set materials. The fee is $35 per child, or $60 maximum per family if you have more than one child in the play.

PARENTS will be expected to sign up for 2-4 helper jobs during dress rehearsal weeks &/during performances for each child that they have in the play. The number of helper positions that will need to be filled will depend on the number of families that end up being involved. They are also expected to help with strike (tearing down the set and clean up). Parents who are not willing or available to help should not put their children in the play. You can check your preference for jobs below. Choose your top 3.

__Green Room Mom (making sure the kids are somewhat quiet and behaving appropriately)

__ Backstage Parent (Making sure that the kids whose parts are coming up next are ready in line)

__ Ticket Sales

__ Set Building/painting

__ Marketing (pre-dress rehearsal week!) Handing out fliers posters, calling radio, TV and newspapers, etc. to arrange for publicity.

__ Sewing costumes

__ Concessions

I understand and agree that I have read and agree to the above statements.
